Mandy Peters


 
Mandy Peters is a school consultant working on the Targeted Reading Initiative, a project of the National Research Center on Rural Education Support. She received her B.A. degree in Elementary Education from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She received her M.A. degree in Elementary Education form Georgia State University in Atlanta. She taught for nine years in grades Kindergarten through second and Reading Recovery in North Carolina and Atlanta, GA. Mandy grew up in rural eastern North Carolina, which has contributed to her interest in rural education.
