Denise Ricks, M.Ed. is a TRI Coach who works with teachers implementing the Targeted Reading Intervention. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Master’s degree in Reading Education at the University of Georgia. She is an experienced elementary classroom teacher, reading specialist, and literacy coach. She has special expertise in Intervention Team coordination and Curriculum Based Measurement system management. Denise is also a Certified AIMSweb® Trainer for Pearson, Inc. and consults with school districts to provide professional development across the country. In her work with other educators, Denise maintains a special focus on sustainability at the classroom teacher level.
